Holistic English is a comprehensive approach to learning English language skills through engaging content from an Islamic perspective. Holistic English Learner’s Book & Workbook for Grades 1 to 6 is designed for students for whom English is a second language. 

This textbook's philosophy is inspired by Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (IRKH), i.e., the Quran, Authentic Hadith, works of Classic Muslim Scholars, and Integration of Knowledge (IOK) experts. Following this, the body of secular knowledge has also been studied to further understand the subject to be taught and its core competencies.

By re-envisioning the purpose of learning the English language, its vocabulary, and linguistics from Islamic Perspective, we humbly attempt to create a holistic and meaningful learning experience for young learners of the English language.

Holistic English Teacher’s Resources is a comprehensive online program designed to equip teachers with the foundational principles and methodologies of teaching English from an Islamic perspective. It consists of:

At the end of the teacher training course, you will be able to:

• Understand the concept of Integration of Islamic Perspective into the teaching of English language. 
• Integrate Islamic values and principles into English language lessons.
• Familiarise with the Holistic English Learner’s Book Grade 1

The teacher’s resource guide provides teachers with the rationale behind this initiative of teaching English with Islamic Perspective. It also includes information on how and why the themes to be taught in each unit have been carefully chosen and how they differ conceptually and morally from standard English textbooks. 

This aspect is important because unless the teacher is fully aware of the underlying differences between the content in standard and holistic English books, she/he may not be able to influence the awareness, attitude, and behaviour of students towards language from Islamic perspective. It also includes additional resources as well as teaching strategies.
